A quick card

OK, so I was poking around online today and saw this blog challenge on Outta This Funk to "Go Vintage" and use some old supplies. So, I went digging through my old paper and found this one I thought might be fun for a card for George. I roughly used the card sketch at Sketch This: Cards for Inspiration.

Supplies: Cardstock is Bazzill. Patterned paper is All My Memories. Misc brown ric rac. Stamp is by Kolette Hall. Pencil Crayons are Prismacolor. Blender Pen from Marvy. Stamped image with Black Palette Ink. Distressed with Versacolor Bamboo.

Cheers,
Colleen

Snow Day #2

These are pictures I just took after being outside for a bit with Kyle since everyone around here seems to have cabin fever because of the snow. The kids are all safely tucked in bed for a nap now, so I have a minute here.

The snow dumped here again last night and with this being the 3rd dump in 4 days, let me tell you, I'm soooo over it! The worst part is that it's apparently not over yet either and they're calling for more Saturday! I don't even think this'll be gone by then.

The school district here was actually open for school both days though lots of other districts weren't. That doesn't directly relate to preschool, but I think they do take that into account. They called yesterday and said they'd be open, but not to worry because the kids wouldn't miss anything if they didn't come. I thought it was just too hard to get them all to the bust stop even though one of the other mums offered to take Kyle up if I got him to the bus stop. I couldn't push the stroller and there was too much snow for the little ones to walk. It was up to Kyle's knees yesterday before we got more overnight and this morning! We did get a call today saying preschool was cancelled after we got more snow and with there only being 6 kids out of 20 there yesterday!

This is one of my pictures of the day from a couple of days ago though I can't say I've done it every day this month. I do keep it in the back of my mind though and I have more I need to upload. This is Nathan's new play place - the window sill in the living room. He sits up there and plays for ages with his trucks, cards and trains.

I just put Kyle down for a rest/nap too though I suspect it'll be a nap today since he got up so early. We had this funny little conversation when I laid down with him for a minute.

Kyle: Mummy, so you want to play a game?
Me: It's time for your nap.
Kyle: We could play a dreaming game.
Me: How do you do that?
Kyle: Mummy, what are you dreaming about?
Me: Ummm...Daddy. What are you dreaming about?
Kyle: Daddy...bringing home pizza from the pizza store!

It was all I could do not to totally lose it laughing. Kyle loves pizza from Little Caesar's (aka the pizza store) and would no doubt eat it every night if he got the chance! Guess he apparently even dreams about it!

Well, we had a bit of a rough go this morning with Nathan and Sophia not being in tip top form. I think Sophia was tired or teething or maybe even both, but it made her quite whiny/needy this morning. Nathan just wanted everything his way, so it didn't make for a great combination and we had more than a few tears. After lunch, I put them to bed and waited until they were asleep and then Kyle and I headed out front so I could shovel the driveway again. Yes, AGAIN - I did it yesterday too. Think George was shocked. It was good to get out and get some fresh air and Kyle played in the snow, so it's all good!

Now for a little creativity. Yes, I have been doing some though not as much as I would like. I did this recently for a layout tag at Scrapshotz and we just did the reveal, so I can post it now!

Supplies: Cardstock is Bazzill. Patterned paper is Basic Grey. Poinsettia is Imaginesce. Numbers for the date and lettering for "tree" are American Crafts Thickers. Sticker in title and Santa embellishment are K & Company.

Well, think that's it for now. I'm going to go take it easy for a bit and maybe watch Young and the Restless while everyone naps!

Cheers,
Colleen

Congratulations and some changes ahead...

Well, I want to start by wishing my sister, Tracy, brother-in-law, Brian, and niece, Sophia, CONGRATULATIONS because the stork is going to be visiting them again! Tracy is a little more than 3 months pregnant now and we're all very excited for all of you! It's exciting that Sophia's going to be a big sister and I get to be an auntie again.

Now, I mentioned in an earlier post this month that my word for the year is "OPEN" and this news is one of the reasons. I'm not sure exactly what this is going to mean for the boys and I in terms of me being at home. Tracy and I are still discussing some of this, but I need to be open to possible changes that'll happen as a result of Tracy being on maternity leave and me not having Sophia here - or at least not as much! I'm not sure if this means finding someone else that might need some child care, a bit of tutoring, or going back to teaching... It'd be hard for me to work more at the store unless we put another vehicle back on the road, but all of these things are open for discussion at this point and I need to let go of the need to control and plan everything. Things seem to have a way of happening when you least expect it, so I'm going to go with that and be open to the possibilities. It's a bit of a period of flux and change happening and who knows where it'll lead. I'd like to be home with the boys a little longer if that's possible, but we'll see...
Well, I got my Scrapperie kit in the mail today, so I'm off to see if I can go create something while Nathan is sleeping and since I managed to get Kyle to school in the snow thanks in large part to another one of the mums at preschool. We were going to take the bus as she and her son do, so she told me just to get Kyle to the bus stop and she'd take him to school since she was going anyway! What a sweetie! Though Nathan wasn't too happy when we didn't get on the bus!
Oh well, he's in dreamland now...
Cheers,
Colleen

Another layout tonight!

I just finished this layout tonight which is basically a letter to Nathan telling him all about the things he's doing at the age of 2! I think it'll be fun for him to have some layouts/letters like these to look back on as he gets older. I got inspired by a DT challenge over at Scrapping Bug to do this challenge without pictures! I also got to use these stamps that I hadn't used yet either and I love them, so expect to see more of them!

Supplies: Cardstock is Bazzill. Patterned paper is Sassafrass Lass "Playtime". Tittle is a misc epoxy sticker, a DCWV chipboard letter and some American Crafts Thickers.Stamps are Kelly Panacci for SandyLion "360 Degrees". Ink is Palette Black.

Just a little reminder of the Gratitude layout challenge that I posted here on my blog a few posts ago as well since you only have until the end of the month to link me up! I'd love to see some more!

Cheers,
Colleen

Scrappy Goodness!

Well, I think the cyber crop I participated in on the weekend and the reorganization and clean-up of my scrappy space has really brought my scrapping mojo back! I even did a few of these cute little bags today while the kids were napping. Sorry the picture is dark, but the light wasn't great by the time I got around to taking the picture of them!

Paper is all Basic Grey and this is partly for a challenge at Scrapshotz to use up your Basic Grey before the new lines come out and everyone wants to buy more. The idea is that you've got about 4 weeks to do 20 layouts (3 mini projects like this or cards equal one layout) and whoever does it gets entered into a draw for a gift certificate! Fun and considering how much of it I have, it shouldn't be a problem!

Here are a few of the other layouts I've done in the last week as well...

Supplies: Cardstock is Bazzill. Patterned paper is Daisy Bucket. Stickers are Creative Imaginations Creative Cafe. Journaling rub-on and "adorable you" rub-on are also Creative Cafe. Title is American Crafts Thickers #7 and rub-ons.

Supplies: Cardstock is Bazzill. Patterned papers are Reminisce and Basic Grey. Epoxy stickers are Making Memories. Misc flat top eyelets. Arrows are Reminisce. The "3" in the title is Creative Imaginations and the lettering is Me and My Big Ideas.

Supplies: Cardstock is Bazzill. Patterned paper is MME Bohemia (old!), Paper Heart Studio, and Frances Meyer. Title is Carolees Creations sticker, American Crafts Thickers, and L'il Davis rub-ons. Sticker is Creative Imaginations Creative Cafe. Journaling has stickers from Creative Memories and AC Thickers.

There's not really too much else going on around here. I'm still not over these bugs though thankfully not contagious anymore. Just feel like I'm run down still. I went for a massage tonight thankfully and my headache is now gone, so that's some improvement!

I'm working tomorrow night and hoping it doesn't start to snow before I get home after midnight some time. George gleefully called me from work today and asked if I'd heard the forecast and when I said I hadn't, he happily filled me in on the news that there's supposed to be a lot more snow in the next few days! Not looking forward to it at all though he is! And is seems like if there's snow anywhere this year, it's at our place! Wait and see...

Better run for now and get some sleep!

Cheers,
Colleen

Bad, bad Blogger

OK, so I haven't been the best blogger lately, but I do have an excuse/reason - I've had strep throat! How's that for ya?! It's been a while in the making and got worse Friday night, but then Sat morning I seemed pretty much fine again. Later that day, it was worse again, so I tried to get in to the doctor, but they're reached their "patient quota" at the clininc for the day, so even though their hours said they were still open, they weren't taking more patients.

I lined up Sunday morning and was the first one in and, not to my surprise, she thought I had strep. She wrote me a prescription and off I went. Last night wasn't great, but the good news is that I am feeling better and I'm not contagious anymore (apparently not after 24 hours of antibiotics)!

So, I haven't done too much though I did do my regular Friday night and Sunday at the store, but went home early both nights thanks to two girls that switched with me - thanks Laurie and Alisa! I scrapped a lot on Saturday and then some again today. Just wasn't feeling up to it on Sunday night.

I have been working on layouts for an online crop at Scrap Shotz. The grand prize is a Clip It Up, which I'm dying to have, but shouldn't spend the money on right now. Anyway, the deal was that if you did the 8 challenges posted on Friday night (7 layouts and one card), you'd be entered to win one of those beauties!

I'll post some more of my layouts over the next few days, but I did manage to get all of the challenges done! Here's the first one I did, which was Carla's 4 Fold Card Challenge. It's a little card that opens up like the top of a box...

Supplies: Cardstock is Bazzill. Patterned paper is Moxxie. Brads, heart clip and felt letters are Making Memories. Flower is Prima. MOD button heart.

OK, so there's a quick glimpse at the beginning of my creative fervour of the last few days. Stay tuned for more to come! Off to get some sleep...

Cheers,
Colleen

A bit of fun...

My Album Cover

OK, now I know anyone that has heard me sing is thinking "WHAT"!? An album?! OK, here's the deal, I was reading Anissa's blog and she had this posted today and it was just too much fun not to try making my own album cover...

Here are the "rules", so you can try too!

The name of your band will show up in the title of this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random

Your album name will be the last 4 words from the last quote on this page: http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3

The third image will be your album cover: http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days

The other thing I thought I'd blog a little about is yesterday's Scrapperie blog topic - "needing answers".

This is something that I struggle with in that I like being in control of things and I feel like I need answers and concrete plans all the time for things that are happening in my life. It's gotten a little easier in the last couple of years in that I've been able to let things go a little and wait things to unfold a little more. That's a good part of the reason I chose the word "open" as my word for the year.

There are going to be some changes for us this year (though I can't share all of the news just yet) and though it all seems like it'll be fine, it's not being able to fully plan for it that makes it a little bit of a cause for apprehension. I'm trying to see where things go and hope that it all works itself out for the best... (I'll let you know more soon!)

I'd love to see your album post if you try it, so let me know!
Cheers,
Colleen

A SOS Blog and Layout Challenge

As part of my Sisterhood of Scrap weekly duties, I issues a blog journaling challenge today.

This time of year after the craziness of the holidays and with the not so great weather can be hard for a lot of people. I think it's more important than ever to remember all those little things that we're thankful for whether it's the great cup of coffee you had at breakfast, a little time to yourself or a kiss from someone special.

My challenge is for you to blog a list of 10 things you're thankful for today - big or small! Even better would be for you to turn that into a layout or mini book. I've been working on a mini book that I'm adding to a little at a time and it's on my blog as well!

** I'm also happy to be offering a little prize for anyone that actually does this as a layout as well. You'll have until January 31st to comment to this thread with a link to your layout and I'll randomly draw someone's name to win!

My gratitude list today...
  • my morning cup of Starbucks (brewed at home)
  • a cuddle from my "big guy"
  • my commute being as far as the living room
  • having gotten the dishwasher unloaded, reloaded and on before 6am!
  • my health (even though I may be starting to get a cold)
  • friends old and new
  • continued learning about who I am and where I want to go in this life
  • knowing that I always have the unconditional love and support of my family
  • the kiss from George just before he leaves every morning and when he comes home after work every day
  • the shining little face of my "little guy" when I get him out of bed and the warmth I get when I hear that excited "Mummy!" every morning

I think on my agenda today should actually be a layout about exactly this though I have a few others running through my brain too. Here is the mini album I've been working on that some of you have already seen, so if you have, you have to excuse me posting it again and my plan is to do another layout or 2 for it today, so I should have something new to post tomorrow! Come back and check!

OK, well think this is it for my gratitude post for the day! Let me know if you've blogged this because I'd love to stop by your blog and check it out! Thanks for stopping by mine...

Cheers,
Colleen

Look Who's 2!

It's soooo hard to believe that my "baby" was 2 on Sunday! I keep telling people that I feel like I blinked and he was 2! I know everyone says that you need to treasure every moment no matter whether or not you feel like some days you're going to pull your hair out because they really do grow oh so quickly. I guess part of it for me with Nathan is also knowing that there won't be another little one after him...
He's a going concern this little man and quite a bit different than his brother I would say at this point. I think there's more of me in him where there's more of George in Kyle maybe. Just a bit of what he's up to these days would be -
  • jumping
  • running
  • wrestling with Kyle
  • building with blocks
  • The Wiggles
  • pretty much any and all food though it's better off someone else's plate apparently
  • talking all the time
  • cuddling
  • his blankie (we call him Linus sometimes!)
  • colouring
  • books
  • cars

Well, that's a quick off the top of my head list, but he's a busy one! He's also spend his life outside given the chance so the winter weather (meaning rain) isn't great for him. He does seem to like the snow though too.

Just as a little comparison, here are a couple of pictures from his first birthday!

I can only imagine what the next year will bring. And I have to say that I'm very thankful that I've been able to be at home with my boys and be at home for this fun year since I was working when Kyle was this age!

Cheers,
Colleen

Unmouting Rubber Stamps

Because it's Teaching Tuesday on Sisterhood of Scrap and I'm the sister of the week, I'm sharing a little organizational thing that has really helped me! Feel free to ask any questions you have!

OK, so this wasn't the quickest of projects, but I can't tell you how happy I am now that I've finally done it. I admit that I don't have the largest collection of stamps, but I found I wasn't even using the ones I did have because they were thrown in a box on a shelf. Out sight is out of mind for me! I knew other people at work had been talking about unmouting and organizing their stamps, so I decided it was my turn.

The good thing is that there's not a lot required for this job other than a few products and some time! So, we'll start with what you'll need:

All you need to do is to gently pull the rubber part off the stamp. If you have any trouble, put the stamp with the wood block in the microwave for about 20 seconds and that should help it come off easily. There were a few stamps where I left the foam that it was mounted on the block on with the rubber part of the stamp simply because I didn't want to destroy the stamp to get it off. It really makes no difference.

OK, once the stamp is off, all you're going to do is stick it onto the sheet of EZMount. You'll know which side because one is crazy sticky and that's the side you want! You're just going to cut around the stamp relavtively closely so that when you go to use it later, you have a sense of the size you're stamping. Once you've cut it out, you're done! The other side of the EZMount is cling and you can now use it on any acrylic block! Easy Peasy!

There are a couple of things you should know before you start. Depending on how many stamps you have, this could take a while. I don't have a ton of stamps, so I did mine in a day (and that included catalaloguing them by stamping them on paper in categories so I can easily find what I have when I need something). The other thing is that because the EZMount is so sticky, you will definitely have to clean off your scissors once in a while!

Other than that, there's really not much to it! Have fun getting organized!

Cheers,
Colleen

Fun Scrappy News!

So, for the scrappy news that I've been waiting to tell you, I'm very excited to be the Sister of the Week at the Sisterhood of Scrap! There'll be more to come, so keep an eye on my blog and at the Sisters site!

Sorry, but I have to run for now because we have family coming for Nathan's Birthday any minute! Happy 2nd Birthday Nathan!

Hard to believe!

Well, I'm in a bit of shock these days with all the 'big boy" things going on in our house lately. This past week, I spent making phone calls and figuring out what I needed to do to get Kyle registered for Kindergarten! Then, on top of that, Nathan is going to be 2 tomorrow!!

I just have one question - When did all this happen? I feel like I blinked and here I am!

Well, I'm just going to have to think about it a little more tomorrow because I need to get some sleep after working until midnight last night and then all day again today. Came home and did some cleaning and picking up since we have my family coming over tomorrow for a little party. Unfortunately, George's parents can't come, but they'll be out for a little visit soon. And Opa popped in for a quick visit yesterday and to give Nathan some birthday money - hopefully for some swimming lessons!

Oh, I almost forgot that I have a fun bit of scrap related news too, but I can't share it quite yet! Have to wait until tomorrow sometime!

Cheers,
Colleen

My Scrappy Year: 2007

Sisterhood of Scrap Blog Challenge: Personal Scrap Trends

Your challenge is to blog about your personal scrap trends of 2007 - were you doing a new size, or different sizes? Lumpy, lean-and-linear, graphic, doodley? What was new and different, and what tried and true favorites did you keep? Feel free to post a couple of fave projects in there too, we always love seeing those!

Well, this was an interesting question for me and I decided to go back and look at all the layouts I'd done over the last year and it was so much fun! I'm actually amazed at all the layouts I've completed and I do mean completed - journaling and all.
I guess there were a few new things for me this year
  • I tried a lot more 8X8 layouts this year
  • thanks to Debbi T, I started a random memories album
  • there's a lot more patterned paper in my layouts and I'm combining them a lot more
  • playing with my scrap stuff was more important this year and just trying things
  • I found the real fun in scrapping again
  • I made my first design team at Scrapperie - very exciting
  • more handwritten journaling again

There are some things about my scrapping that don't really change either and I'm good with that. I'm a fairly linear scrapper and though I love the look of being more "artistic" for lack of a better way to put it, I'm just not good with it. I love trying new techniques and products, but there's only so far I can seem to go!

Some of these layouts are my own my own design and some are inspired by other people, but this is a fun (though small) glimpse and my scrappy year!

Thanks for the great blog topic inspiration Lynn Anne!
Cheers,
Colleen

Shout Out to Julie!

I just wanted to wish my girlfriend, Julie, the very happiest of birthdays! It was sooooo wonderful to see you and I only wish we could do it more often!
Happy Happy Birthday!

For those of you that don't know, she lives in Australia with her husband and 2 boys. They were just up here on vacation for the holidays and it was the first time I'd seen her in more than 5 years - since George and I got married! Wonderful to see all of you!

Julie and I met after we'd both come back to vancouver from teaching in Japan in different places. We wanted to keep up our Japanese and started taking classes in Vancouver and found that we didn't like the class so much because we weren't learning enough, but that we really liked hanging out together and so started an amazing friendship!

Happy Birthday again!
Cheers,
Colleen

Blog tag!

I put out a blog question of the day at Scrapperie and today it's tag related! I was tagged by Janet!
1. Name your 2 favourite scrapbooking topics.
My favs are my boys and everyday stuff lately.
2. What are the 2 best places you've been to?
Cambodia, Hawaii and the best place I've lived (other than BC) was Osaka, Japan!
3. Name 2 things you do every day.
Kiss my boys and play on the computer a little checking scrap sites and my Google Reader!
4. Tell us 2 things that pretty much everyone knows about you.
I'm married with 2 boys and I love scrapbooking!
5. 2 places you wish to visit -
Hawaii again with George and Europe!
6. 2 things you may not know about me are -
I'm left handed and double jointed!
The question I'm adding is...
7. 2 nicknames you've had at some time in your life!
Pinky and Little Miss Mary Sunshine

OK, so as you can see all of the questions have "2" in them. If you're tagged, you're going to answer the questions on your blog and add one more question with "2" of something. That way as it spreads, it'll get longer and change depending on who it visits! Make sure to list the 2 people you're tagging on your blog and let them know! (The tag started with 4 questions)
I'm tagging Sarah and Joelle!! Can't wait to see your answers ladies!

Cheers,
Colleen

The first weekend of '08 over already!

I don't now where the time goes sometimes that's for sure! Here I could just swear it was Friday night and we're at Sunday again already. A week from today Nathan will be 2!

January 6th Photo of the Day

Some of you may recognize this little fellow from a couple of months ago when I posted a picture the day we brought him home. He's one of Kyle's school projects and the idea was that if you watered him, he would grow hair because he has grass seed on the top of his head. Well, he did and I unfortunately did get a picture of him when his hair was all nice and healthy. Now, he just looks like a wizened, wise old man, but at least he still has the smile! Here's the original picture of him below in his younger days!

Well, not much happened here today only because I worked all day! George was, of course, home with the boys and got the tree taken down and a few chores done, but that's about it for our day. I did watch Desperate Housewives tonight and it was quite good.

2PEAS Blogger Challenge~ Do you try to get current pictures of yourself by doing a self photo shoot or having someone take them of you? If you have recently taken some new photos share with us.

I have to admit to now being the best about doing this because I really don't like having my picture taken - like so many other people! I do know it's important for my boys to see pictures of me though, so I'm at least better about getting other people to take a few pictures now. I can't say I have any recent ones of just me, but I should ask my mum to come and do some again.

A couple of years ago, my mum and I did a little "photo shoot" for each other for pictures to give my husband and dad for Valentine's day! Hmmm...that's coming up again isn't it?! I think I should ask her to do the same thing again and have her take some of the boys and I as well!

I guess I'll finish off with a card here that I did with some scraps that were on my desk! Liked the design until Nathan wiped out and I dropped my ink pad on the corner trying to see what happened! I did a little on the opposite corner to try and hide it too, but it didn't really work. Think I'll use the design again though! (Sorry for the blurry picture!)

George thankfully has tomorrow off too, so he can stay at home while I go do my duty day for preschool. Not much else on the go for tomorrow other than that and some chores - fun! Hope to scrap a little too!

Cheers,
Colleen

Photo for Today and Some Scrapping!

January 5th Photo of the Day

It's been a really nice day of a combination of some taking it easy and getting a few things done as well. I did my usual 6-midnight last night and didn't get to bed until about 1ish and then Nathan kept me awake for another half hour or so singing and crying "Uppy Uppy" because he somehow though it was time to get up! Not likely. I think he's teething again a little because George got up for him 2 other times after that and Nathan rarely wakes up at night generally.

I got to sleep in a little after everyone came into say good morning. The boys all went and had breakfast and I went back to sleep. Got up and had my coffee and a little computer time as well as some time with the boys before George went out with Kyle because he needed new pants for work - George not Kyle! We don't have him out working quite yet! Later on, I took Kyle out to spend a little of his Christmas money from Opi on some more Lego (he're currently quite obsessed with it!) and to return the Leap Pad mum and dad got him since it doesn't work.

We were planning on making dinner after Kyle and I got back. We started to look at what we were going to make and then we were missing ingredients for that meal and any other we could think of, so we went and picked up a pizza from Little Caesars since that's what Kyle likes.

Boys went to bed and then I got to scrap and George is playing World of WarCraft. Yes, I'm a WOW Widow - I could join the Facebook group! He's not that bad with how much he plays though and it's "his thing" - I scrap and he plays that!

So, I managed to do this double layout based on one of Sandi Minchuk's sketches from the December Glad Tidings Kit from Scrapperie.

Supplies: Cardstock is Bazzill. Patterned paper is Reminisce. Cardstock Stickers are Reminisce and Creative Imaginations Creative Cafe. Rub-on title is Making Memories. Journaling block is Reminisce. Epoxy letter stickers are MOD. Misc flat top eyelet.

I also actually did 5 more Christmas cards to add to the one I did the other day, so I have a half dozen done for December '08!

I think that was about the extent of our day really. George took the decorations off the tree and then that'll go away tomorrow too. I'm working tomorrow, so not much else going on for me other than that and maybe a little scrapping in the evening if I'm luck though it's also the return of Desperate Housewives, so I'll need to try and catch that since I just saw the cliffhanger episode this past week.

Have a great Sunday and enjoy!
Cheers,
Colleen

A Day In The Life...

"Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are"
Mary Jean Irion

Record a normal, daily routine, take note!
This is the quote and prompt for the 365 Day Challenge that Anna is doing. Since I'm doing the pictures anyway, I thought I'd play along with some of these as well. This one seemed particularly poignant after seeing P.S. I Love You last night which deals with mortality and how things in your life can change quite quickly.

As you can see, I decided to take pictures of things the kids were doing today. My camera won't take the shots I want in terms of lighting, etc, but I'm taking them anyway. Kyle made a puppet the other day and wanted to make another one. We were playing ball, building blocks, singing (have some of that on video!), reading, playing tag, and then Kyle did a puppet show for us!

The one I decided on for my picture of the day is Kyle with his puppet...

He was so proud of himself and could have done an all day performance if given the chance. The funny thing is that the puppet didn't seem to want to talk - only dance! So cute!

Now, I know you probably think you're in some kind of weird time warp or that I don't know the holidays are over, but it's not that! I've actually joined a Christmas card challenge over at Scrapshotz. The idea is that you set a goal for how many cards you want to do and then divide it by, in my case 11 months, since I want to be finished before December and then you won't be so rushed at the end of the year trying to get them done! I did this one based on the sketch that Carla posted. We'll see if I can get this done! I'll be happy if I can because I didn't send as many as I usually do this year just because it got too late. (Sorry to those of you that didn't get them!)

Well, I guess I'd better get going here and get ready for work! I'm on 6-midnight at my local scrapbooking store with all the croppers tonight! I hope I've got enough caffeine in me!

Cheers,
Colleen
