Happy Halloween!
We did have fun doing the pumpkins last night and it's been so long since I posted that I haven't even put up the pictures from the pumpkin patch trip the Kindergarten kids went on on Monday! We went to the same place that Kyle went last year with the preschool, so we planted the paper white bulb again and got a pumpkin afterwards. I was lucky enough to be able to take Kyle and one of his classmates since it was on a Monday that George was off!
We also stopped another place the week before with the kids so that Nathan could pick a pumpkin from the little patch they had there. Of course though, I didn't know we were going to stop and didn't have my camera! So sad! Nathan was so proud of the "big, big" pumpkin that he picked. The woman there gave the kids little pumpkins as we were checking out too.
Of course, this would normally be my night to work, but they decided to close early tonight and not have the crop thinking that it probably wouldn't be that busy. I'm thankful because I get to take the kids out tonight! It is supposed to rain unfortunately, but we'll make the best of it and the kids are small enough that they don't want to be out all that long anyway. We're going to go over to Tracy and Brian's later and go trick or treating with Sophia too. Should be fun!
Well, not too much else going on here I don't think. I've for three classes going at work next month and I'll post samples of those soon! I also have some other scrap stuff to post since I've been a little slow with the posting! I'm thinking maybe I need to sign up for National Blog Posting Month to get myself going!
Have a wonderful, fun and safe Halloween everyone! Hope to get pictures posted again soon once I get my technical glitch figured out!

Contest Layout
OK, well as some of you have already seen from my previous post about voting in the "So You Think You Can Scrap" Contest at YMBD, I made it through to Round #3 with the layout above. The challenge was to scrap a layout in the colours of our favourite flavour of ice cream as the main colours and mine is Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, so there you have it. I'm hoping to make it through to the next round too! I'll post that layout once the voting is done!
And just a reminder that at Scrapperie, for the rest of October, if you order the new Apple Orchard kit (or the October Hocus Pocus kit, featuring papers from My Little Yellow Bicycle and Making Memories), Sandi will donate 30% of all proceeds to the American Cancer Society, via Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. It's just a little something she wants to do to help give back and hopefully one day, to help find a cure.
Just a reminder about the crop this weekend at WeScrap too! Come and join us for some wickedly good fun!

Odds and Ends
I also have been negligent in posting this sketch and layout that I did for the mid-month Scrapdango kit reveal! Lovin' those papers!
What else is going on around here these days. Well, I'm still trying to get over this cold I've had for a week and a half and the boys are as well though they didn't get hit quite as hard as I did thankfully. Sophia was also sick on Friday and I thought it was croup and it turns out I was right. She's doing OK though now too!
I taught at Precious Memories yesterday and had a great time! It was a Bo Bunny Holiday Agenda class and there were 8 people there. We got through most of it other than some embellishing, so we did well. I'm looking forward to another class on Wednesday! I'll be posting samples of the classes I'm teaching in November here shortly as well!
Guess that's about it for now. I know there were a million other things I was going to blog today, but that'll have to do... Have a fantastic (though quite soggy here) Monday!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving again! I'm still trying to get over this cold and though it doesn't seem much better today, I have so many things to be thankful for...
Enjoy your family and friends and be sure not to take the little things for granted!

Sick.
Tracy called this morning and told me that they got home safely last night. Glad about that. Was going there for dinner tonight, but don't want to make everyone else sick now...
Very happy with my Canucks last night and glad they're playing well.
On a completely different topic, this completely made me laugh outloud! An "interview" with Sarah Palin related to scrapbooking! Check it out HERE!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone and even though I'm sick, I know I have sooo many things to be thankful for.

So far behind!
These were the creations from the October Scrapdango kit and there'll be another to come on the 15th with a sketch as well, so keep your eyes open for that!
Love all the colours in this kit and the distressed look to the papers! The crazy thing is I have a ton of stuff left from this kit to create with too!
Let's see, in other news around here, we're trying to make plans with both families for Thanksgiving this weekend. Tracy and Brian won't be back from Newfoundland until Saturday I think and they're definitely in my thoughts today. Brian sadly lost his dad on Sunday and the service is today so all of his family and their friends are in my thoughts.
Kyle was really excited today because today is his day to be the teacher's helper! He got up early and came and got in bed with me for a cuddle before we got up and the first thing he told me was that it was his turn today to help his teacher - all very exciting. His teacher told me that when she put the list of names up that he was the first to go up and count how many "sleeps" it was until his turn! I'm sure I'll hear all about it shortly when we go to pick him up.
I've been busy doing some creating for upcoming classes and need to get all of it finalized and the pictures sent it - tonight with any luck though I do have a PAC meeting to go to tonight as well. I work the next 2 nights too, so my week is disappearing quickly here. Saturday will no doubt be spent cleaning and getting ready for company and the I work Sunday and we have George's family coming Monday. Ahhhh.... So much to do and so little time it seems!
Anyway, it's all good stuff that's keeping me busy, so I have no complaints. I hope to have some Scrapperie kit stuff to show you for my next post as well!
