Got the new Ali Edwards e-mail newsletter thing this morning and for those of you that don't know who she is, she's a well-known scrapbooker that has published a couple of books I love. Anyway, in her newsletter there was this great quote...
"There is no such thing in anyone's life as an unimportant day."
- Alexander Woollcott
This is just so true. We so often get wrapped up in our daily lives that we forget the world around us and only think about what's happening next rather than what's happening NOW. Take a minute today to enjoy the here and now and leave me a little comment about what it was that you noticed today.
I did get another couple of cards done with the new Basic Grey Infuse paper as well. I'm loooovin' this stuff!
Have to see what else I can come up with, but expect to see more at some point! Now I just need to get the second page of a layout for Nathan that's in my head produced!
Today's 2Peas blog challenge~
What is one thing you wish you could break out of the creative box with in scrapbooking/card making?
I guess for me it would be just doing more freehand/doodling type stuff because I like the look on other people's layouts, but can't seem to do it so that I like it on mine. I'm at least using my own handwriting on mine now!
The Scrapperie Blog Challenge:
Do you try and get more traffic to your blog? If so, how?
I don't worry about attracting traffic to my blog necessarily though it is fun to read the comments I admit! I do it mostly for family/friends and to be able to share my scrapping stuff. I think by commenting on other people's blogs, which I do fairly often, you also inadvertently attract traffic to your blog because those people are interested in who's reading their blog and will often come and visit yours.
Well, Kyle and I have been reading stories while the little ones nap and I think it's back to that today - enjoying being cuddled up on the sofa with him reading today. The little, but important, things...
Cheers,
Colleen
