I was totally thrilled when I got an e-mail from Becky Fleck with one of the amazing May sketches for PageMaps!! I got to design a layout based on the sketch below and it and my layout sample of Nathan on his birthday are on the PageMaps site today! Check out all of her amazing sketches and the fabulous sample layouts!
I love using sketches to get things moving when I scrap! Takes some of the "pressure" off when you go to sit down if there's nothing creative coming and when there are so many amazing sketches to choose from, it then make sit hard choosing a sketch! Thanks Becky! I had fun with this!

Happy Birthday Trace!
This was the card I made for my sister, Tracy who had her birthday on Monday! I've been such a bad blogger of late that I hadn't even posted any birthday wishes for her! The card was Jennifer McGuire inspired and done as part of a challenge at Scrapperie for the Snail Mail Soiree! I did it with leftovers from a class I'm teaching in May of a birthday exploding box with Bo Bunny products!
I'm off to teach another class tonight and then work the next two! I can't believe I'm going to be missing another hockey game tomorrow night! Brutal! Oh well, the schedule looks good for me seeing the next few after that! Go Canucks Go!
Better get a move on and I'm doing Nablopomo again for May too and should be posting daily since it seems to be all or nothing for me!
Cheers,

Winging It!
OK, so imagine Nathan and I walking home when way down the block I see the mail truck on the side of the road in front of what I think is probably our house and I know I waiting for delivery of the Scrapperie Winging It kit. What's a girl to do? RUN! There's me holding Nathan's hand and bribing him with juice when we get home if he'll run! I make it was the mailman is walking away from the house back to the truck!! Wahoooo! Scrappy kit in hand!! Made my day!
So, after catching my breath, flipping through the kit and enjoying the jelly beans that came with it, I decided I'd try and make a card since I only had Nathan at home this morning. I did this for the challenge for April 8th of our month long Snail Mail Soiree going on at Scrapperie. Happy with how it turned out! You might not be able to tell from the picture, but the tree has flocking on it (the light green).

October Afternoon Weathervane cards
This line of paper has been so popular at work! I planned this card class using the October Afternoon Weathervane line and have had more requests for the paper than I knew what to do with and have another full class for tomorrow night thankfully!
Looking forward to getting the new lines at work soon too!

A quick Easter card!
I did manage to use my new card for my Slice this morning to whip up a quick card for Kyle's teacher since I forgot that today was his last day this week! I used the Noteworthy card for the label shapes and the new Seasons card for the little bunny. The sentiment was from an old set of Making Memories magnetic stamps too!

Happy Mail Day!
Just got the mail and found this little goodie in there! Making Memories was doing a little giveaway when the Slice first came out if you sent in a card and proof of purchase and this finally arrived today! Have to check it out and see if I can find some time to play later...

March ScrapDango Layouts
Well, this is sadly my last set of DT layouts for Scrapdango as they have a new team there! It has been so much fun and I've really enjoyed the amazing group of creative women! I promise not to be a stranger either...
This layout is based on a sketch my Ally Cope at SoSketchy.

This layout was based on a sketch that Kathi (on the DT) did for the newsletter!
Thanks for a great term and I can't wait to see what the new team has in store!

Upcoming May Class!
These are for a new class that'll be running in May at Precious Memories called Celebrate Spring and it's a technique based class, so keep your eyes out for the new shecdule if you're local! We'll be working on making the most of that patterned paper! The second layout is based on a sketch by Shawn at Nuts about Sketches! Thanks Shawn!
