Happy 10th Anniversary!

Wow!  It really is hard to believe how quickly 10 years can go by!  The good news is that not only do we still love each other, but we like each other too...

It really has been a great day!  I was able to take the boys to school, got lots done at home today and then the boys played at the school for almost an hour after school with their friends. Went out for a nice dinner and George gave me a nice card and a lovely necklace.

This was the picture Nathan drew for me at dinner.  He drew the necklace George had given me and then added his own message.  So darn cute!  After dinner, we came home to homemade cake and Starbucks! Wonderful way to celebrate 10 years together!

Happy Anniversary Hon!

Just want to take a minute to wish my wonderful hubby, George, a very Happy 8th Anniversary!  I love you for all the amazing little things you do and the way you're there for all of us and love us the way you do...

Happy Anniversary George!

Yes, it's hard to believe another year has gone by and that we've been married for 7 years now! Happy Anniversary George and I'm looking forward to going out tonight! Thanks for taking the boys Trace...

This is the card I made for our anniversary! The heart has metallic paint on it and the big brad says "love". Gotta love it when you can use some stash to do things like this (the paper and heart)!

This is the little thing I did for George for our anniversary. We're going away in a couple of weeks, so we're not spending much on gifts right now, but he loves chocolate, so I got one chocolate bar for each year we've been married and cut the same number of flowers for a "bouquet". I used my MM Slice for all the flowers!

I guess that's about it for today really! Just trying to get some things done around here this morning after a busy weekend. Need to finish off a couple of things and get all my new class stuff submitted today for July classes as well.

Looks like it's going to be another warm one for sure and that the next few days will be the same. Kyle was extra happy to be going to school this morning because it was "messy day" where they get to play with paints, sidewalk chalk, a water table, etc outside for a while this morning. Good day for it anyway!

Well, going to try the daily blogging again this month though it didn't go so well last month! Here's to better timing this month!

A Night Out and a Busy Day!

OK, so my plan was to post some pictures since Tracy took one of George and I last night before going out for our anniversary dinner and I took a bunch of the boys at preschool today! My camera had other plans though since the batteries have just decided they're done and need to be recharged! Guess that'll be my next post...

Anyway, we went to Anducci's for dinner last night and had a wonderful time. Nathan cried for a few minutes when we left, but Tracy was nice enough to phone and let us know that it really was only a few minutes and that he was fine. They had a great time there watching the Wiggles, having some dinner and then going for a walk and playing outside until we got there!

George and I had a wonderful time at dinner and didn't even spend the whole night talking about the kids. We had a caesar salad to start, some pasta and garlic bread and then shared a piece of cheesecake. Went for a little drive after and stopped for a Tim Horton's coffee for me! A nice evening together...

Today was just crazy! And so crazy that I think I'd better leave it for now and post more later because the boys and I need to go pick up George after dropping him at work at the crack of dawn this morning so that we could have the car!

Happy Anniversary Honey!

I just wanted to say Happy Anniversary to my husband, George, because it was six years ago (already!) today that we got married with all our family and friends there to share in our wonderful day. I couldn't have possibly asked for more and still feel very lucky!





This is the card that I made for George for our anniversary - a little something different that I had fun playing with!

Supplies: Misc cardstock. Patterned paper is Scenic Route and the hearts were cut out of the same paper and popped up. Misc ribbon. Embossing was done with a Cuttlebug folder. Stickers are Pebbles Inc.

Not too much going on today really. I got a great cuddle this morning in bed for a little while with both my boys! We did grocery shopping and I got a little scrapping done. Nathan is going down for a nap and I'm going to watch some of the NASCAR race (Go Ryan!) with George while Kyle plays a bit on the computer. George and I are taking the kids to Tracy and Brian's and we're going out for dinner - looking forward to that!
