Looooooong Day of No Potty Training!

OK, this is going to be short and sweet since it seems like it's been the longest day dealing with wet diapers! Yes, we're trying to get Nathan potty trained and I feel like I might as well be banging my head against the wall some days.

Nathan hates being wet and yet won't go on the potty. He's taken to removing the Pull-Ups after he pees and then coming to me with it in his hand and a bare bum though today he took off one that had more than that in it too. He delays at bedtime by asking to go potty and then, of course, tells me he's not going to tinkle (**BIIIIG surprise!) and then giggles incessantly. I knew it was a delay tactic for bed, but also feel like I can't say no when he asks to go (which, of course, he has also figured out!). We've tried the underwear too and he does the same thing - pees, takes them off and then lets you know.

Anyway, I'm sure that's enough of the potty tales to last you a while, so I'll leave it at that! It's a good thing he's got those big dimples and he's so darn cute because it's hard to be mad at him as a result!

Cheers,

Ahhh... some kids just have a more difficult time getting through this. DJ was my difficult one, but he ended up doing just fine once he started. Those are the day's that I DON'T miss! lol

Those are the days you will never forget but will be grateful once they end. DD has 5 children and one of hers was like this it took her a long time to potty train him but once he had it, he had it down pat and there was no going back or any accidents. You'll get through it girl. :)

At least he's not going outside to do his business like my grandson Noah did! He figured since the dogs did it outside he could too! Sounds just like a boy huh? Time and perseverance Colleen! :) He'll figure it out one day!
